I am so glad you are here!

I am Jovina, a poet and a PhD student living in Pittsburgh. I write poems with inspiration drawn from my experiences with love, loss, healing and hope. Writing is when I feel the most at home and I pour my heart into my poems with the hope that they’ll touch someone’s life in some way— whether it is by making them feel less alone, or by simply making them smile. My debut poetry collection, It’s Dawn was released on December 13th, 2023. I have been working on it for three years and have been dreaming of it my whole life. I can’t wait for you to read it!
